Renfaire is more fun in a Linen Mens Renaissance Doublet! Fact. When it gets hot at faire, you’ll be super cool in this linen doublet, lined with linen. Pair it with a set of Venetian Breeches in linen for maximum impact. <3 It looks very fine buttoned up or left unbuttoned.
Features include a standup collar, nine wooden buttons, full lining and shoulder epaulets. Most colors available up to 4X Large. Its a traditional renfaire design, excellent for historical costumes and good to wear for guild and educational uses. Though you should always check with your costume coordinator if you are in a group like that.
Machine washable and preshrunk. For best wear you should lay it flat to dry or hang dry. Made in the USA. The linen mens renaissance doublet has just enough rayon blended into the fabric to reduce wrinkles and make it softer. Think of it as ‘Guy Friendly’. 🙂 Once you have worn it a bit it develops a nice softness and still looks great. Iron the doublet for extra spiffyness with a HOT STEAMY iron.
