Description
Introducing the Partlette, a cute accessory worn by women of the middle and upper classes in Tudor and Renaissance times. Basically its a little jacket with a popped shawl collar. Its a smart way to add a layer to your historic ensemble, plus it protects against sun and cold. So, its practical too.
I make these in a linen cotton blend, lined with linen blend. Its got a great hand, and a firm weave. As always, the fabric is preshrunk. There’s a button closure at the bottom of the center front. Available in size small through 2x. I developed this from historical patterns, years ago and finally have it here online for you to enjoy.
I’m starting the online inventory with classic black. If all goes well, I’ll add colors for online shopping. I regularly carry two or three colors of this partlette in my booth at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in SoCal and the Northern California Renaissance Faire at Casa de Fruta. Tell your friends!!
