This renaissance fencing doublet is designed for anyone who participates in Western Martial Arts. It is great for SCA, tournaments and battle pageants. Exceeds regulations for SCA Rapier combat. Your doublet will be made up at the time of ordering.
The outer fabric is cotton twill, with cotton canvas and cotton shirting interlinings plus linen lining. Four layers and tougher than trigger, and yes it is still flexible. You can move in it.
Designed with a double breasted front and 18 buttons for superior coverage. Waist peplum is double wide for maximum vertical coverage too. Flat buttons for safety.
Options exist to add sleeves or trim. The renaissance fencing doublet is also available in brocade. Take a look at the size chart and order accordingly. I can build a custom size if needed. All of these options will add time and $ as expected. Please make notes in your order if you want these options. All options will affect the final price of your order.
