This shirt is very full, gathered into a band collar with *new* button and loop closure at the neck. The sleeves are also full and gather into a cuff with button and loop.
I make this renaissance shirt with gathered neckline in 100% linen weight of 3.5oz offwhite. Its really nice, light and airy, with a loose and textured weave. Perfect for hot days at faire. You can wash the heck out of it on hot if needed, and tumble dry gently. Best results are a hang dry, you won’t need to press it as much. Before its even cut out, I wash and dry the fabric to pre-shrink. You can rest easy this shirt will fit. Linen is tough, and can take bleach and lots of wear while still looking good when you take proper care of it.
